Ready for assembly

Most of the bike is Lined up in parts.. New parts have Been ordered from different shops... Let the puzzle begin!

The small lift is a copy of another fabricated one. I made 2 of these with my colleague Frode, Who is also a Big bike enthusiast.

The 3 cylinder 543ccm 2-stroke air-cooled engine is suzuki's biggest production air-cooled 2-stroker ever.

CCI, SRIS, ETCS, RAS, SCEM... What?!

The engine features suzuki's CCI (Crankshaft cylinder Injection) system wich pumps out 2 stroke Oil for the main bearings and also into the intake. The amount of Oil is controled both by the throttle and engine speed. The engine also features (at that time) a new system called SRIS (Suzuki Recycle Injection System). This system takes unburnt Oil from the buttom of the crankcase and up into the combustion
Chamber. This causes less smoke at low speeds in town etc. Last new thins for this engine was ETCS ( Exhaust Tube Coupling System. The three exhaust headers is coupled together to give more low and midrange torque..

Most people know these Engines from the RAM air system (RAS) Suzuki invented this system to keep the engine cool without those wide cooling fins on All cylinders wich Would make the engine too wide .

This engine on my bike is a late Nikasil model. The cylinders are made with
Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material, wich was only used on the RE5 rotary 'Wankel' engine and a few RG500 Racing bikes. This technique is also known As nikasil hard chrome surface.. The cylinders on this engine also has bigger transfer ports and is rated to 53bhp instead of the 'Steel cylinder model's 50bhp.
